We (The Muilenburg Family) have set up this page as a way to keep friends and family up to date on Norm and this battle he is just beginning to fight. As you all know he is an incredibly strong man and we have no doubt that he will attack this thing with all his might. Please save this page to your favorites and check often for updates on Norm.

Norm, your poem made me laugh and cry--so much like you, in general, and as you enter this day of surgery. Everytime I talked to you on the phone this week, you buoyed MY spirits--your acceptance mixed with hope was wonderful to see. And your sense of humor sustains us all.
I've always known what a wonderful guy you are (well, except for those moments growing up as your older sister when I wanted to throttle you), and now it's terrific to hear the support you're getting from friends, co-workers, and all those who know you.
Your indomitable spirit will get you through this in good order, I have no doubt. As you said, your Dutch stubbornness is gonna pay off!
We love you and are holding you close.
